About The Event

Dandy Wellington has partnered with acclaimed chef/TV personality Carla Hall  to present Four Eyes: An Event to Benefit Helen Keller International. The event  will feature performances from Dandy Wellington and His Band, discussions with Dandy Wellington and Carla Hall and the debut screening of the official music video for “Four Eyes”, the newest original single by Dandy Wellington and His Band.

We’ve teamed up with Helen Keller International as a charitable entity. “Four Eyes”, which is not only an ode to ladies-in-glasses but a celebration of individuality, speaks to the positive message of being oneself and seeing the beauty in our differences. With an organization such as Helen Keller International, we find that the association with vision-related philanthropy and the glasses-related narrative of the song ties in perfectly! HKI has made a difference in countless lives across the globe, and we are honored to be working with them.

Founded in 1915, Helen Keller International is dedicated to saving and improving the sight and lives of the world's vulnerable by combating the causes and consequences of blindness, poor health and malnutrition.

We currently have more than 120 programs in 20 African and Asian countries.

Part of this work is focused on preventing blindness and vision loss for millions of vulnerable people through cataract surgery, vision correction, vitamin A supplementation, screening and treatment for diabetic retinopathy, and distribution of treatments and cures for neglected tropical diseases.

We also work to reduce malnutrition by promoting solutions aimed at improving nutrition practices for millions of families. These include vitamin A supplementation, maternal and child nutrition education, fortification of staple foods with essential nutrients, globally recognized family-led agricultural programs and community-based management of acute malnutrition.

Helen Keller International also reaches tens of thousands of under-served youth in the United States each year through ChildSight®. This unique program provides free vision screenings and prescription eyeglasses to students living in poverty in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Ohio.
